(yawning...) I'm feeling so sleepy...but I don't want to sleep at this time...it's 7 pm now. It's better for me to have dinner (although I'm still full now) and wait for few hours, then only go to bed, maybe around 10 pm. So 3 hours from now..haha...actually I'm going to London tomorrow morning at 7.05 am. That's the reason why I don't want to sleep now, coz I might wake up in the middle of the night, with hungry stomach..haha...
The end of academic year is approaching. A lot of students now leaving the campus, some going for holidays, some going back for good! Well, I'll be going back to my lovely country soon! 25 July- I'm counting days now..haha...There were also a lot of farewell party around the campus. Last Sunday, my accommodation hall held a Green Party, the next day, we had a BBQ party, n last Wednesday, my school held an end of term social event.
Ahh..I really can't wait to go home..I'm missing my family, my country, especially the foods there!! I really missed the time my family n I eating out and shopping at night! I can say that's one of the best things in my country. The shopping complexes n shops all open at least until 10 pm during the weekdays. Shopping complexes open until midnight during the weekends, n some of the restaurants open 24 hours! Foods are everywhere, of course there are so many kinds of foods, you have so many choices that sometimes you don't know what to order!
OK, that's all for now. Talking about foods makes me feel hungry...haha...C U!

A lot of things happened last few days...I have passed my 'Upgrading' and my quantitative assignment!! Thanks God! I can feel relieved now as I've been straightly upgraded to PhD without any resubmission, or in the words, I've passed my first year, and going to the 2nd year. What makes me happier is my assignment, which I got the marks on the same day with my 'Upgrading' day. I never know what others got, coz I thought all of us passed the assignment. But then, a friend of mine called me and asked me to forward my assignment to him. Then only I knew from him that only 4 of 11 passed the paper and he said that I got the highest!! I really can't believed it at all coz for me to pass it is good enough...I really thanks to God for these double achievements! And that also means there are a lot of works waiting to be done All my friends are having holidays right after their Upgrading, but me, still going to school everyday, working on literature review n research...sigh...well, that's life right?

Again, I havent log on to this blog for more than a month! i've been so busy these few weeks. Finally I've submitted my report yesterday morning! So next, I've to prepare the presentation slides for my upgrading which will take place in early June. Wish me luck ya!
Actually, I'm planning to start preparing the slides today..but don't know why, I have no mood to do it today as I still feel that I need some rest before I start working again. Some of my friends said that i deserved some rest..and yeah..i went to city centre yesterday n shopped some jeans n shirts. So supposely I should start working today..but..too bad huh??

i didnt realize that i havent written in this blog for more than a month- until i got a msg from blog.co.uk recently!! actually i'm quite bz these days... but now, i will write sumthing or mayb summarizing what had happened since last few weeks.

first of all, i wanna tell u that i've passed my philosophy assignment! although my marks is just on the fence (is this the right phrases?), i was so relieved that i dont have to resubmit it again. thanks God!! so now i still have 1 more assignment to do- quantitative assignment which is due on 21 april. i spent the whole last week looking for a suitable n interesting article for the assignment, but still couldnt find 1. huh...

on last 23 feb, my friend n i went to watch a movie titled 'sweeney todd: a demon barber ...'. for me, it was a good movie, good acting...i hv an instinct that it's an interesting film when i first read the synopsis of the movie. but it was really not suitable for kids..haha...i cant forget how he killed all his customers...scary..

i also had bought a new Sony voice recorder. actually i will have a 5-day course at Notts end of this month. so i think i may need a recorder to record the lectures/ talks since they might be very important for my research later. i surveyed everywhere n compared the prices for different brands, diff shops even diff countries..hehe....n at last, i found 1 in e-bay UK which is cheaper than the normal price n i decided to buy it. but then another prob - i hv to hv an e-bay account first. i never have an ebay acc be4 n i never interested to either browse the e-bay site or buy something from e-bay...although many of my friends used to do that. but just because of the recorder, i hv to register for it...so mayb after this, i will try to find something else there again..haha

ok, firstly, amanda, thanks for ur comment. thanks for dave n bwale as well...u guys motivate me to write more... sometimes i feel ashamed to write here bcoz my english is very bad. but i know, if i dont practice, i never improve right? so friends, please correct me if i'm wrong. i'm not a native speaker, i came from a country where its 1st language is not english. but of course i wanna master in english. my target is at the end of this year, i will be able to speak english fluently n good at writing as well. thats my aim. sometimes i wonder, i've been studying english since i'm around 6/7 years old...but why my english is still not good? hmm...mayb becoz i didnt practice it...bad huh?? so again, i beg u my friends, if u found any mistakes, just let me know n plz correct me ok..i'm willing to learn
hmm..what else? oh ya...its snowing this evening!! i'm so so happy...coz this is my first time to see it..erm..actually 2nd time..it happened once last oct/nov...then i thought its not gonna fall again...but just now, it fell again! n i was on my way back from school at that time...i felt so happy! i've seen snow when i was in australia n new zealand be4 n i even skied at that time. but this time, i saw it falling..its beautiful, amazing...what else can i say... well, sorry, i feel like this coz its never snow in my country..we just have hot n rain throughout the year

hello my friends!!
every tuesday night is my relax time...I'm so bz on the other days especially on monday...actually this is bcoz i have to see my supervisor every tuesday to report/discuss about my research...so i'm working very2 hard be4 tuesday...but after i met my supervisor, i'm so relieved n i just enjoy myself. i will start my work again tomorrow until nxt week tuesday...thats my new life now..i wake up in the morning, go to my office n stay until around 4pm, n go home.i think i like this way..at least i wont waste my time chatting or doing nothing at home
actually now i'm working on VBA...i never studied vba be4..this is my first time...so what i do is, borrowed a vba book from library n study by my own, every single page, one by one from the beginning. its a hard work but i wont give up. its quite interesting especially when u managed to get the output. but..be4 that, u have to go thru a lot of errors n its really stressing!!
well..thats life anyway....ok then...c ya...ta!

I just went back from cinema with my friend. we watched 'the golden compass'. it was a good movie. actually i really wanna watch it juz becoz of Nicole Kidman!! hehehe:D I dont know why, but I like her...there was a time my friend asked me, "why do u like her?" I just...dont know..other than her beauty, i think she has a 'personality'...hard to explain that...well sometimes we just like someone for no reason! there mayb something about him/her, but we just cant tell it...do u agree with me?
my class started today after a month holidays...studies of course becoming harder n harder... sometimes i listen, sometimes i lost in my own world...haha..especially during the 3 hours lecture without break...huh..its really tiring...i just wanna have some rest tonight, n study tomorrow...

I went to a new year party held by my residential college just now. it should start at 8pm till midnight...n my flatmates n i reached at the cooler club around 7.50pm. nobody there except us n 3 more girls who juz arrived few minutes earlier. ohh..mayb we're too early, i told my friends. since we're early, we managed to get a free complimentary drink! so we just having some drinks n chatting while waiting for the others. we waited till 9pm, but still only a few ppl coming.1 of the organizers said that normally ppl will start coming at 10pm onwards. no wonder...but we dont wanna wait anymore...plus, my flatmates wanna go back earlier to finish her works/ assignments. so around 9.15pm, we went back. well..erm..i think, mayb i shouldnt consider this as a party..

I juz came back from Birmingham. My friends n I went to Birm this morning n we spent half of the day there...shopping, taking pictures..actually this is my second time going to Birm. the first time was when i first arrived UK, which was about 3 months ago. It was very very cold today...n it even colder than coventry. according to the weather forecast, tomorrow will be colder than today...oh nooo... i still cant adapt with the weather here...i came from a country which temp around 25-30 degree celcius...so juz imagine...
i'm really tired..need to rest n sleep. c ya!

hope this year will bring more happiness to all of us...i didn't go anywhere today. this morning, i asked my flat mates whether they wanna go somewhere to celebrate new year...but they also didnt have any plan...so we juz planned to cook n eat together...only 4 of us...we cooked alot..chicken, salmon fish, n vegetables. n we did have kiwi fruits as well as ice cream as deserts. i'm so happy! we really enjoyed our time!!
i waited for the countdown just now. i juz wanna see if there's fireworks (which i can see thru my window)...n yeap..they are..but just for a while n not so interesting.
so...now i'm a year older...whats my new year resolution?? i juz wish everything will run smoothly. i wish i will success in my study, n not to forget, i wish i'll find someone so..what's urs?
